These gorgeous white Birdies on a wire have been a massive hit this year. The light aquamarine transparent base glass is the perfect backdrop to four cute Birdies who happened to have perched in the same spot for a while, on barbed wire (rugged barbed wire fences are a feature of the Connemara landscape). The copper wire has been twisted by hand and included between the layers of coloured and clear glass. The original design upon which this plate is based is by Claire Lee.
